Canadian Film Centre	Norman Jewison's institution educates the next generation of Canadian filmmakers and presents occasional film events.
Chinese Cultural Centre	Bridging the Chinese Canadian community and greater Toronto with cultural events.
Italian Cultural Institue	Italian culture in Toronto.
Feniks	Promotes and distributes Polish cinema across Canada. The organization, or at least their web site, appears to have been on hiatus since early 2004.
Japan Foundation Toronto Consulate General Of Japan In Toronto	The gateways through which Japanese culture often passes into Toronto.
L.I.F.T.	The Liaison Of Independent Filmmakers Of Toronto, a support organization for local filmmakers, and also the hosts of occasional screenings and workshops.
The Loop Collective	Promoting the integration of experimental film and video with other art forms.
National Film Board Of Canada	Venerable producer of Canadian documentaries and animation.
Ontario Film Review Board	Government arm rating (and occasionally censoring) commercial film releases in the province.
Telefilm	The primary funding body for Canadian film and television.
Telelatino	The Italian/Spanish cable channel presents first-run screenings of recent Italian films under the banner of Viva Cinema.
Toronto Animated Image Society	Serves professionals and fans with seminars, workshops and screenings.
Toronto International Film Festival Group	Undeniably the most important film organization in the city, responsible for the yearly Toronto International Film Festival and Sprokets Film Festival For Children plus year-round screenings at Cinematheque Ontario and Talk Cinema. The Film Circuit ensures those outside of Toronto get a chance to see the more specialized fare that usually bypasses their cities.

Vagrancy Films	Grindhouse revivalists located in London, Ontario.
Canadian Film Distributors
Alliance Atlantis/Odeon Films	Canada's largest film distributor. The Alliance Atlantis banner handles New Line and Miramax releases in Canada. Odeon takes on indie and foreign fare.
Capri Films	Specializing in quality arthouse fare.
Christal Films	Quebecois distributor handling homegrown productions, some foreign offerings and the Lions Gate catalogue in that province. Their wares occasionally make it across province boundaries to Ontario theatres, but not very often.
Decade	Independent cinema.
Domino	Specializing in Canadian cinema.
Equinoxe	A rather subdued release schedule concentrates on mainstream-leaning indie fare.
Films We Like	Filmmaker Ron Mann and Toronto entertainment promoter Gary Topp release the films they're sweet on across the country.
Kinosmith	Independent Canadian and foreign-language cinema. The English-Canadian sub-distributor for the Seville catalogue.
Lions Gate	Increasingly North American-centric (although partly Canadian based) distributor gets both wide-release mainstream fare and small indie flicks out to the market at large.
Maple Pictures	Distributor of the Lions Gate catalogue in English Canada.
Maximum Films	Former Alliance head Robert Lantos' new film company, distributing Canadian and foreign fare.
Microfilms	Releasing indie docs to DVD and, occasionally, to theatres.
Mongrel Media	Distributor of quality foreign fare, documentaries and the Sony Pictures Classics catalogue.
Seville	Quality foreign fare.
ThinkFilm	The partially Canadian distributor handles indie fare, with an emphasis on documentaries, in the North American market.
TVA	This Quebec-based distributor's releases have run the gamut from small Canadian flicks to international Oscar winners.
Ultra 8	Secures small Canadian releases, usually at repertory houses, for culty foreign cinema.
Vagrant	Indie film. No website that I can find.
